The Super Eagles’ camp in Rabat, Morocco, is now buzzing as 21 players have joined the national team ahead of Thursday’s crucial fifa-world-cup/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">2026 FIFA World Cup playoff against Gabon.

Head coach Eric Chelle and his technical crew are working with nearly a full squad, focusing on team cohesion and attacking efficiency in the final training sessions.

Three more players are expected to arrive today to complete the roster.

Among those in camp are stars like Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon, William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi, Ademola Lookman, and Raphael Onyedika, blending experienced internationals with emerging talents.

Training intensity has reportedly increased, with players looking sharp and focused under Coach Chelle’s guidance.

Tactical sessions aim to sharpen attacking patterns and defensive coordination ahead of the high-stakes encounter.

The fixture, set at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat, will determine which team progresses in the next phase of World Cup qualifying, and Nigeria is eager to start strong with a well-prepared squad.
