The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have declared a total lockdown across the South-East on May 30, 2025, to honor Biafran heroes. However, the Njiko Igbo Forum, representing Igbo elders, has strongly opposed the move, calling it confrontational and unnecessary.
